Since 2001, Radio Ikhlas has been a vital pillar for local ethnic minority communities. Broadcasting in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Mirpuri, Hindi, and Arabic, we reach over 30,000 listeners, providing content to people for whom English may not be their first language.
Our station has cultivated a dedicated listener base, offering a platform for diverse voices and perspectives. Radio Ikhlas offers regular coverage of the latest news, travel updates, and weather forecasts during our Drivetime and Breakfast shows. Children actively engage in fun-filled programs, with opportunities to win amazing prizes sponsored by local businesses. We also cover important community issues, discussing topics like fly-tipping and crime.
All our presenters come from the communities we serve. Through our comprehensive training program, we’ve helped hundreds build confidence, participate in debates, and become hosts of their own shows. We offer nearly 60 hours of live programming weekly, including specialist shows with doctors, pharmacists, and legal experts.
