Our service partner, An Nisa Events, proudly manages the walk-in Food Bank at Ikhlas Community Centre, providing essential support to those in need. This vital service offers both freshly cooked meals and raw ingredients for home cooking, ensuring families have access to nutritious food.

More than just a food bank, it creates a strong support network for women facing similar challenges, reminding them that they are not alone. Delivered Food Packs

One of our key goals is to reduce long-term reliance on food packs, as it not only impacts those who use the service but also places a strain on those who fund its operation. However, we understand that many in our community face genuine hardship, which is why our monthly Food Bank service remains a vital support system.

Our food packs include culturally appropriate, halal meals, fresh ingredients like meat (when available), vegetables, tinned goods, and other essentials. This discreet service ensures dignity, with food packs delivered directly to your door in a parcel-style box for complete privacy.

Community Led Approach

Unlike many fully funded services in the city, these initiatives are truly community-led, driven by the generosity of local people and businesses. They selflessly contribute their time, resources, and supplies to ensure that those struggling with the cost of living have access to much-needed support.

This grassroots effort reflects the spirit of unity and compassion, offering a lifeline to individuals and families facing hardship. With no major funding, it is the dedication of our community that keeps these services running, proving that when we come together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
